Pumpkin Unit Study
It is Fall and time to break out all the pumpkins!
Unlike most pumpkin units where young kids get a few coloring and matching sheets to do – my curriculum dives deep into the science of pumpkins- including their parts, life cycle and uses.
This curriculum was designed for busy mamas. Each family style lesson has all components (lesson plan, lesson page, reading material (or suggestions), lapbook, activities, field trip guides, recipes, investigations, and so much more.
Your prek-2nd Grade kiddos will be immersed in an amazing world full of pumpkins and while they are there they will also be reviewing major math and literacy concepts.
In this 7 lesson curriculum you will find:
– A non fiction reader – written by me
– In depth vocabulary cards and built in review
– Craft activities
– a lap book that they create along the way
– A pumpkin investigation
– Pumpkin Muffin Recipe and STEM activities
– A unique pumpkin board game
– Pumpkin Shape Memory
– Pumpkin Vine Matching Game
– Review of the inspiring story of Spookly the Square Pumpkin.
and MORE!
The Lessons cover are:
Lesson #1: Introduction to Pumpkins
Lesson #2: Parts of the Pumpkin
Lesson #3: The life Cycle of the Pumpkin
Lesson #4: Pumpkins vs. Apples
