What does a day at Nature School look like?

Hi, I’m Jennifer, a former chemist and homeschool mom with a background in biology, toxicology, and chemistry. I’ve been running Nature School for 6 years, creating hands-on, meaningful outdoor learning experiences for local families.

Frequently asked questions

What happens in bad weather?

Nature School will continue to run as long as there are no dangerous storms, high winds, or temperatures under 22 degrees. Please make sure you are prepared for all weather.

Can I bring other siblings ?

Absolutely, older and younger siblings are welcome to attend as well.

Is the price per person or per family?

For NATURE SCHOOL the price is per family. It is one flat fee of $75.

Would my child be to old for this?

I do not cap the age on this group however if your child would enjoy deeper topics, more advanced science, drawing and watercolor techniques then my Advanced Class might be a better fit.

What should we bring?

I provide all basic supplies for this class however kids love to bring collection bags, magnifying glasses, water bottle, and extra clothes.

This program will run on Tuesday mornings on the following dates 4/14, 4/28, 3/5, 3/19, 3/26. For a total of 5 classes.
Each class will be at 10:30 AM
We will meet at Flemming Falls Nature Preserve 2276 Fleming Falls Rd Mansfield, OH 44903
This class is geared towards ages 6-10 – I teach to the highest age in the group
Price is $75 per family
